Founding Principal & President Matt Kool Matt Kool has served as the President and CEO of Iowa Techniques for the last twenty years. Throughout his career, he has earned valuable experience in dealing with customers and developing his business, as well as for his clients. Matt has extensive skills including, but not limited to: branding, marketing communications and project management, while maintaining a sterling reputation for customer service and professionalism. Matt graduated from Iowa State in 1995 with a degree in Marketing, and comes to FireTide Creative with proven marketing abilities, strategies, and creative, inventive ideas.

Account Manager & Copywriter  Carrie Worthington Carrie Worthington joined FireTide in 2009. With a Graphic Design degree from Iowa State University and Teaching Degree from the University of Iowa, Carrie has parlayed her diverse talents into experiences that fed her creative drive. In her 7 years as an elementary teacher, Carrie was well known for her curriculum writing skills at the state and national level. This experience was put to use in her Graphic Art work as she moved from teaching into the corporate realm. As an author, illustrator and curriculum writer she took on a 4 year project with the Minneapolis Red Cross to over haul their community outreach program. By utilizing her writing skills and artistic eye, Carrie enjoys helping FireTide clients Make Waves!

Web Developer Nick Thompson Nick Thompson is a computer science student at Texas State with 6 years web development experience already in hand. He started his career developing websites for charity organizations and quickly found himself working on an array of freelance projects as well as for software development company, Resolution EBS. During this time, Nick also spent several years as one of 10 moderators providing expertise to an online web development community of over 100k members. Now settled at FireTide Creative, Nick utilizes the latest and best web technology to ensure FireTide Creative has powerful, user-centric, and lightweight deliverables.

Spark
If every journey begins with one step, then every idea starts with a spark. In this phase, your pain, problems, and potential, are identified.
